It's probably safe to assume that they wouldn't award extra credit for that.

I wouldn't mind practicing with you, though. I've got a serious need to improve my grades, and some hands on practice is way more fun than studying in a book.

Really? That would be fantastic. Hands on has always been my favorite way to learn things.
